“ A very nice casual Italian restaurant located in heart of Forrest Hill Toronto. Over 35 years of great food and service. Loved by many locals. Hand crafted paintings on wall, warm Italian culture through out the theme. The Caesar salad was one of the best. Would like to try the fig plate next time going again. ”
“ First time to try Pizza Banfi last night with a party of 7 people. It was highly recommended by friends who have been visited there for over a decade. The inside was not so big but definitely a great ambience and cozy atmosphere. High quality dishes & each of them was carefully crafted. Lovely presentation and they all tasted delicious. We loved the Pizza Prosciutto E Funghi and their thin crust was fantastic. We also ordered the fish of the day red snapper and mussels, their seafood were fresh and seasoned well. Their ravioli and spaghetti were a MUST try on menu. They did show warm hospitality. The Owner was super friendly. Staff were all polite and attentive. They came several times to check on us to make sure everything was good. That made it an authentic Italian restaurant. We enjoyed our meals and what a wonderful dining experience at Pizza Banfi. Please make a reservation in advance to avoid missing the opportunity having good decent Italian food. Will definitely recommend to friends and family who love Italian cuisine. ”

“ A lovely experience at our local Forest Hill Village Italian Restaurant #PizzaBanfi . Reservations are strongly encouraged, and we tried to make one but we ended up going there anyway and waited for a table to open. We were treated very well, and received some complimentary #Bruschetta which was brimming with #Garlic and fresh tomatoes, as we waited at the bar area. When a table opened we had great personal service and great conversation with the wait staff. We ordered a lovely Sangiovese red wine to go with the meal. The #wine was a great way to start, and then added to the lovely flavors of the meal. My husband ordered the #PennePollo Chicken, sun dried tomatoes in a pesto cream sauce. It was fabulous. Great flavor and a lovely, creamy basil sauce. I ordered the #LinguiniLimone Olive oil and lemon juice, with basil and fresh grated parmigiano. Lemon zest gave great lemon flavor and the tang from the cheese was delightful. My husband loved trying my linguini that he said he’d get it on out next visit. The food was so fresh and flavorful even when made with simple ingredients. Definitely will want to return to Pizza Banfi and try more dishes, drink more wine, and experience the great personal service. ”
